Habit #2 Begin With the End in Mind
Review "The Great Discovery" on pages 84-89. Take note of your responses and begin creating your own mission statement. Posting your statement on the blog is optional. Your mission statement is yours; it's personal. Once you have written your statement, post it inside your binder. You should have access to your statement at all times. Eventually, you will have it memorized!

Mission Statement:
ReplyDeleteI believe everything happens for a reason.
People change so that you can learn how to let go.
Things go wrong so that you can learn to appreciate them when they’re right.
You fall for lies so that you learn to trust only yourself.
And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
And that’s life; I live, laugh, and learn from it.
I am strong because I am weak.
I am beautiful because I know my flaws.
I’m a lover because I’m a fighter.
And I can laugh because I have known sadness.
Never stop dreaming because maybe someday you’re dreams may become reality.
My mission statement is a quote I found on the book it is " 'Would you tell me please which way I ought to walk from here?' 'That depends where you want to get to,' said the Cat. 'I don't much care where-' said Alice. 'Then it doesn't matter which way to walk,' said the Cat". It means to know where you are going.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement is something I have always kept telling myself. Never give up. If you give up then you will influence other people to give up or they will feel your negative energy and they would want to give up. Bad things happen to everyone and when you think that your the only one that is going through something bad in the world your wrong thousands of people are going through the same thing you are going through for example your parents are getting a divorce, you are not the only one that’s is going through that. The most successful people in the world had the worst problems you can imagine but they never give up and when they had succeeded they were glad mentally and emotionally. My mission statement is never give up and keep on trying your best things will get better for you eventually.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement would be..."don’t do anything you'll regret later, put your best work in everything you do and only be responsible for yourself don’t let anyone else control you, you are you and only you!”
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement is a quote I have become to love...
ReplyDelete- There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won’t anymore, and who always will. So don’t worry about people from your past there is a reason they didn’t make it to your future.
-I’ve made mistakes in my life. I’ve let people take advantage of me and I’ve expected way less than what I deserve. But I’ve learned from my bad choices and even though there are some things I can never get back and people who will never be sorry, I know better next time and won’t settle for anything less than what I deserve.
-Don’t let somebody become a priority in your life, when you are just an option in theirs.
-Don’t let somebody become a priority in your life, when you are just an option in theirs.
-Be strong because things will get better, it might be stormy now but rain can’t last forever.
-Some say holding on makes you strong, but sometimes it takes just more than strength to let go and move on.
-I am who I am and your opinion isn’t need.
My mission statement is two quotes that I found encouraging.
ReplyDelete"Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be. Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do." I love these to quotes.
My mission statement is one that I came across while searching through the Internet and it caught my attention.
ReplyDelete"My mission is to champion others, to grow personally, professionally, emotionally, and spiritually by using my compassion, my unique perspective, and my belief in others to inherit gooodness, integrity, and enormous potential. This means to help others and at the same time you will be helping yourself, and to guide yourself to your own success.
My mission statement is "Don't worry about a problem if there's a solution because you'll surely find it. Don't worry about a problem if there is no solution because then it's just not a problem." And "it's possible to make a change." I have already memorized my mission statement because I have said it so many times.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maritza's mission statement because it makes sense and I like it.
ReplyDeleteI like Diedo G.'s mission statement. It's from the 7 Habits book. It's like if you don't care which way you go then you don't care where you end up.
ReplyDeleteI really like Maritza’s quotes, I think that most people can relate to this and its all just part of life. I especially like the one that said:
ReplyDeleteI believe everything happens for a reason.
People change so that you can learn how to let go.
Things go wrong so that you can learn to appreciate them when they’re right.
You fall for lies so that you learn to trust only yourself.
And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
Tania,
ReplyDeleteYour mission statement is very true and when you do find a problem there is always a solution to that problem like what you said Tania.
Maritza,
ReplyDeleteIt was nice that you called some people that you had hurt or abandoned and said sorry to those people. Good job for depositing in the bank account.
Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI really like your mission statement. It's very true and very clear. It's kind of simple but not too simple. It's just right!
Tania,
ReplyDeleteYour mission statement really spoke to me. I think I will add this to my own mission statement. Thank you for posting this! It also sounds familiar. Did you get it from those quotes I printed out for you?
Diego G.,
ReplyDeleteI don’t really get your mission statement and how it will help you in your life.
My mission statement is simple,” to be successful’. I said to be successful because I believe that some one successful is some one that is doing what they want to for a living, they get paid well, and love there life. I also said to be successful because I believe successful is on top of the pyramid. I mean in order to be successful you have to not give up, try beyond your best, and do well.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement is “To be successful.” I believe that someone who is successful can get anything they want with out having to complain about money issues, and a person who is successful has achieved all of their goals in life. In order to be successful you have to believe in yourself, and can’t let anything bring you down or stop you from what it is you want to do. I always repeat this to myself “in order to be successful Vanessa, you have to do what is supposed to be done, and don’t get behind.” This is what reminds me that being successful will not be easy, but I know I will achieve it!
ReplyDeleteTania,
ReplyDeleteI agree with your mission statement, because I understand it and I think it’s true. No matter what you its always possible to make a change.
My mission statement would be "never give up in the actions you take". This mission statement has helped me a lot and will help me a lot in the future, in many different ways. When I'm feeling depressed of I need some encouragement I just need to look at my mission statement and this helps me over come anything. In the future I will learn that I should never give up, and to always keep on trying. You should always believe in yourself and aim for higher goals every time.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement is "Be unique." It is short but it summarizes what i want in life. By being unique I will accomplish tasks differently from others. At the same time I will be different and will have my own style in doing stuff.
ReplyDeleteMy mission statement is "live life". I like this because what things are you going to do sitting on a couch or just staying home doing nothing. And most of the greatest things happen outside. Another reason I like is because in a way it's saying do something never done or do something great with your life that will be remembered forever.
